In this interview Cliff discusses his book, storyboarding inside PowerPoint, and shares some ideas.


The real insight here is the coming together of two ideas: the classical power of story and the clarity of a logical structure.
Usually, we think of the one as linear the other profound.
Business has always needed information, insight, depth. Hollywood tells stories that inspire, but often rather simplistic: boy meets girl; man conquers mountain, etc.
Cliff is suggusting we bring these two elements together, one reinforcing the other. That’s easier said than done.
But I’m certainly glad he has said it, even if I have to do it.
