Geetesh: Sandy, you have been a regular at the Presentation Summit, and are also part of the Help Center. Can you tell us more about the Help Center, share a story about how it made a difference to an attendee?

Sandy: Several years ago, when PowerPoint had just been released for the iPad, a patron came to me to demonstrate that the links for all of her Custom Shows did not work when viewed in PowerPoint on the iPad. I was able to gather the Microsoft Product Group team around her demonstration. While we couldn’t solve the problem that day, Microsoft took the issue back as homework, and it wasn’t long before the problem was solved and an update was released. Not only was our patron’s problem solved, but it was solved for PowerPoint users around the world.

Geetesh: Can you share some information about your presentation design work? What sort of design do you do, and what keeps your clients happy?

Sandy: Oh, man. I love what I do! I focus on creating PowerPoint templates and sales or training presentations for corporations. While this might have been creatively confining just a few years ago, my clients are more and more open to using creative solutions for presentation design and storytelling.
