Kacharuk Marukpitak is a father of two, and a quality engineer at a one-stop payment solutions company. He has been passionate about presentation design and has been blogging about PowerPoint tips & tricks, templates, and tools on his website and YouTube channel.

In this conversation, Kacharuk talks about his PowerPoint Memory Game product.

Geetesh: Kacharuk, can you tell us more about your PowerPoint Memory Game, and what inspired you to create this game which lets users play a game with nothing other than PowerPoint?

Kacharuk: I was looking for a quick and easy way to create a memory game with photos of my kids. There are plenty of websites that will allow me to upload photos to create such game, however I don’t want to upload my photos to those websites. So, I set off to design and create this PowerPoint Memory Game. It works quite well, and my kid indeed really liked it. When I use photos of my kids – those photos brought up good memories and sparked conversations. Sometimes I will pick photos of dinosaurs – and my son will enjoy it a lot!

Geetesh: We noticed you give away this game for free. Why is that so?

Kacharuk: At first, I put this up for sale for a period of time – apparently not lucrative but could be part of my passive income plan. But then I realized I’d rather give away this game for free to expand its reach to more people, especially those small kids in schools and families. I hope they will enjoy the game like my kids do!

This PowerPoint game generator lets you create memory game (AKA matching game) using your own photos.
