Laszlo Diewald has been working as a consultant for more than 10 years now. He started his career as an employee right after his study at the Technical University of Munich. Shortly after, he decided to become self-employed as a freelance consultant. In 2017, he founded his own consultancy, with a focus on large scale projects in the financial sector. In parallel, he started working on presentaid, which was finally launched in April 2022.
In this conversation, Laszlo talks about presentaid‘s new Library feature.
Laszlo, tell us about the support for images and PowerPoint shapes in presentaid’s updated Library feature. How do these new options enhance user experience compared to the previous version?
Laszlo: Our presentaid Library is one of the most heavily used features. So far, we have provided libraries for slides, styles, our beloved SmartStickers, and also entire presentations. However, our clients asked us to open the library for non-PowerPoint assets as well, in particular images. Most of our clients have internal image libraries with approved assets. But to make use of those assets, they usually need to go to a SharePoint or alike, search for an image, open the image, copy the image, and eventually paste the image in the presentation. With our enhanced presentaid library, we can provide direct access to those images in PowerPoint – no need to switch apps anymore.
We think that supporting additional asset types was the next logical step to make our customers even more productive in PowerPoint. The feedback we received so far was overwhelmingly positive.
Geetesh: How does one get started with presentaid? Do you have a trial available?
Laszlo: If you want to try presentaid yourself, you can just head over to our website and request a free trial.
