PowerPoint 2016 for Mac’s work area below the Ribbon continues to be tri-paned. These three panes comprise the Slides Pane, the Slide Area, and the Notes Pane. The Slides Pane is the thin strip on the left side of the PowerPoint 2016 interface that contains thumbnails of all your slides.

There are a lot of articles out that provide tips on how to deliver a presentation. But I want to talk about how presentation design can play to your specific strengths as a presenter—even if you think you don’t have any.
The way you structure and design your presentation slides can help prompt your memory, engage your audience, and make your presentation more effective overall. You just have to find what works best for you.

The Outline view in PowerPoint 2016 for Mac essentially brings up the Outline pane on the left side of PowerPoint 2016 interface. Note that this now replaces the Slides Pane that shows up in Normal view. Also, any changes you want to make to your outline can be made through right-click (or Ctrl-click) options, and we’ll show you how you can do so.
