Reena Cruz from Investintech talks about Able2Extract Professional 11, a PDF product that also converts PDFs to editable PowerPoint files.

Reena CruzReena Cruz is Social media director, blogger, and brand manager for Investintech.com, developer of Able2Extract Professional, a PDF converter, creator and editor. She loves exploring new topics and thoughts on PDF conversion, general technology, and productivity, sharing tips, tricks, and informative content along the way. When not at a computer, she loves reading, skating and watching murder mystery TV shows in her free time.

In this conversation, Reena talks about the new Able2Extract Professional 11.

Geetesh: Can you tell us more about the new features in Able2Extract Professional 11? Also, how is Able2Extract Professional 11 better than other PDF solutions in converting, creating and editing PDFs?

Reena: The last time we talked about Able2Extract back in 2013, we discussed version 8. Since then, we had three major updates and we’re now at version 11 of Able2Extract Professional. Throughout the years, we have incorporated many new features that would enable our software users to fully manage their PDFs with Able2Extract Pro. Some of the most prominent features introduced since 2013 are PDF creation, PDF security, PDF editing, PDF annotation, and PDF redaction. Here’s an explanation of each feature in more detail:

PDF Creation: Able2Extract creates a PDF from any printable file. Furthermore, Able2Extract features full PDF creation capabilities that allow users to customize a PDF document to their needs. They can create professional-looking PDFs right within the application they are in and save the time spent going into other applications to generate a PDF.

PDF Security: Users can password protect their PDF documents and selectively control what their recipients can or cannot do with the PDF content: print PDF, copy and paste from it, rearrange pages, and more.

PDF Editing: With the PDF editing options, users can modify their PDFs on the spot without converting them to another editable document. You can easily edit PDF text, pages, and files. All modifications are instantly visible. It is possible to quickly add and delete text, insert shapes or images onto a PDF page, merge and split PDFs, and more. We have even prepared an interactive edit PDF demo that shows how easy it is to modify PDF with Able2Extract.

PDF Annotation: Able2Extract users can fully annotate their PDFs: add comments, links, watermarks, and sticky notes or insert highlights, underline text and much more. These options allow our users to seamlessly collaborate on and revise PDF content.

PDF Redaction: We introduced the PDF redaction feature to help our users prevent the viewing and sharing of their confidential data. They can permanently remove highly sensitive data like social security numbers, names or account information.

At Investintech, we believe that what differentiates Able2Extract Professional 11 from other desktop PDF solutions for creating, editing and converting PDF are extremely accurate conversion output, a simple and quick conversion process, and its custom PDF to Excel conversion that allows users to actually adjust the structure of their PDF tables and preview their> resulting output before the actual conversion.

Geetesh: Please share information about the option that converts PDFs to editable PowerPoint files.

Reena: Able2Extract’s option that converts PDF to PowerPoint presents a quick, easy and safe way to transform non-editable PDF presentations into PowerPoint slides that you can modify and improve as you want. As you can see in the interactive PDF to PowerPoint demo, it only takes three clicks to convert PDF to PPT.

Furthermore, thanks to integrated OCR technology, Able2Extract also extracts content from images and scanned PDFs into PowerPoint.

Apart from converting PDF to PowerPoint, Able2Extract also allows for editing PDF presentations on the spot. Let’s say, for example, that you want to add a line of text on your PDF slide or correct a typo directly in the PDF itself. You don’t have to convert your PDF to PowerPoint for that. All you need to do is to switch to editing mode and use Able2Extract’s PDF content editing capabilities to brush up your presentation in seconds.
