Picture Styles in PowerPoint 2016 for Windows

Similar to Shape Styles for the shapes on your slide, PowerPoint also provides Picture Styles for your inserted pictures. With a single click, Picture Styles can transform a simple looking picture to something that’s more distinct. Note that unlike Shape Styles, Picture Styles are not Theme specific. Visual cliché is an area that deserves more attention, and we bring you a new installment of our PowerPoint Cliché series. This time we explore pictures with Stacks of Coins. We also look at one of PowerPoint’s weak areas; it has never complained about a missing font and substitutes any fonts not found with no logic explained. Worse, there’s no way to identify a substituted font. We explore how you can report to Microsoft, and also we look at a workaround.
