Judd Albrecht

Judd Albrecht

Judd Albrecht has always been a creative person, from when he was young all the way up until now. Some ways he satisfies that need to be creative are animating, creating graphics, writing/playing music and playing with his kids. He went to school and graduated with a degree in 3D animation. Along with a background in animation, he developed many more skills that have made him a well-rounded digital artist. The thing he loves most about being an artist at PresenterMedia is being able to create content that will help people better express their message and help bring their presentations visually to life.

In this conversation, Judd talks about PresenterMedia’s new Calendar Builder tool.

We first feature Jerry Weissman who compares presenting with swimming, and says, “The fundamental aspect of this approach is to deconstruct the basics and reconstruct them progressively.” We then bring you a guest post by Nick Ronald of Toastmasters International who explains how you can create a rapport with your interviewer.

PowerPoint 365 for Windows users can learn how to flip a picture without flipping the container shape. They can also find out how to calculate the length of a diagonal line. We also bring you quotes, press releases, and templates from the last few days.

What if you draw a line in PowerPoint that is slanted or sloped? Now, if you want to know the length of this line, you should know that there’s no built-in feature within PowerPoint to do so. But, why would you even want to know the size of the line? That’s because you may have to create multiple diagonal lines and the second line may need to be exactly half the length of the first line. There may be any number of other reasons why you need to draw other shapes that are proportional, relative to this line.

By Nick Ronald, Toastmasters International

In a job interview, however relevant your experience and skills are, a lot will depend on how you present yourself. At one point in my career, I was having great difficulty getting the new job that I really wanted. I joined my local Toastmasters club as I thought that improving my public speaking skills would build my confidence and help with my interviews. In the process, I realized that presenting yourself at an interview is a form of public speaking. What I learned, helped me to get the role I wanted.

It is fairly easy to flip a picture on your slide. However, this flipping can be a little tricky when the same picture is used as a fill for a shape. That’s because you end up with a picture that does get flipped, but so does the shape. But what if we wanted to just flip the picture? How do you achieve that result?
