When a picture has been inserted, you might want to make adjustments to the picture itself so that it looks distinctive and focused. You can change a picture’s look by re-sizing, cropping, changing color values, adjust saturation, or by applying artistic effects. In this tutorial, we’ll explore the options available within PowerPoint to make these picture adjustments. When a picture is selected, the Picture Tools Format tab appears on the Ribbon.

These easy to use, ready-made frame corners are already placed in PowerPoint slides. Use these to make your pictures look different and stand apart. These frame corners have been provided in two variations – black and white. Both variations are contained within two separate slides in one presentation that you can download. Copy and paste individual frame corners over the pictures on your slide. First, position the copied frame corner properly on the top-left corner of your picture, then duplicate and rotate it and use for the other three corners.

Unintentionally, this issue seems to have become a Handmade Slides special! First of all, you have three sticky tape variations to download and use on your slides. We also have a tutorial on adding a transparent texture to your slide backgrounds — of course, the textures themselves have been made available to all of you. And then I walk you all though Super Themes, one of my favorite features for PowerPoint 2013. You get a few more frame corners to add to pictures on your slides. There are more tutorials — learn about text transforms in PowerPoint 2010 for Windows. And if you are a PowerPoint for Mac user, learn about working with bulleted and numbered lists.

It is possible for PowerPoint slides to have numbered lists that comprise twenty lines, but that is something frowned upon. Even if your audiences have perfect eyesight, they won’t be able to read the teeny-weeny sized text! And also, too much text is very much boring, and nowadays any sort of bulleted or numbered lists seem to signify a poorly designed slide. One approach that can help you solve this problem is by dividing your list across multiple slides — but even then PowerPoint starts numbering your lists at 1 on each slide — even though you want it to start at 6, 11, or 16! Luckily, that is an easy problem to solve, as explained in the following steps.
